A Canadian Breakfast

Two planes, 17 hours and a an 8 hour van ride later we FINALLY arrive from Michigan to Mississauga, Canada. We’ll be staying for 3-4 days to visit relatives and of course find outlet what kids eat here in Canada.
After a great nights sleep, our Dad and Uncle decided to go get breakfast and bring it home since we were a bit jet-lagged. Luckily, we were hungry… bring on the FOOD!

Breakfast in Bed 🙂

French Toast w/Fresh Berries

Plain. The way Jaf likes it!
Eggsmart is one of Canada’s more “family friendly ” breakfast options, very similar to iHOP or Denny’s in the US. Another one our Uncle and Aunty recommend is Cora, which we ate 2 years ago.
Dad ordered our usual breakfast favorites; french toast, eggs, sausages and potatoes and even added the infamous CANADIAN BACON, which looks different from that in our egg mcmuffin sandwich! 🙂

REAL CANADIAN BACON!

So good!

With regular bacon potatoes!
The best part about breakfast was the fresh orange juice, it was the best we’ve had in a long time! A must order (apparently, Eggsmart is known for their fresh orange juice) and very delicious! Jaf had 2 cups!?!

Da Best Orange Juice!
And so there it is, a Canadian breakfast! 🙂
And here we thought they only ate Canadian bacon with maple syrup Canada 😉
